The final game of Week 1 of the ULAX summer season lived up to the hype as the Risk Takers and The Birds battled in what proved to be the most competitive contest of the night. From the opening faceoff, it was clear both teams were loaded with skill and ready to compete. The pace was fast, the ball movement was crisp, and every possession carried intensity. The Risk Takers struck first with a perfectly placed shot before adding two more goals to jump out to a 3-0 lead. The Birds refused to back down. They got on the board with a highlight-reel goal after an outstanding dodge to the cage, injecting energy into their sideline and keeping the game within reach. As the game wore on, the physicality matched the talent, with players laying down big checks, battling for every ground ball, and sacrificing their bodies on both ends of the field. Despite the relentless effort from The Birds, they were unable to solve the Risk Takers' disciplined defense and outstanding play between the pipes. Every time The Birds looked poised to build momentum, the Risk Takers answered with another defensive stop or timely save before turning defense into offense. On the other end, the Risk Takers showcased one of the most explosive offenses of the opening week, creating quality scoring chances throughout the game and finishing with clinical efficiency. Their balanced attack, combined with a lockdown defensive performance, proved to be the difference in a hard-fought victory. While the scoreboard favored the Risk Takers, both teams delivered an entertaining, physical, and high-level lacrosse game that closed out Week 1 in style and set the tone for an exciting ULAX summer season ahead.

The Fellas survived a late push from the Jackals to earn a hard-fought 10-9 victory. After building a lead, the Fellas held on down the stretch as the Jackals battled back, but the comeback fell just short in a tightly contested game.

Bronx Science opened its ULAX season in dominant fashion, earning an impressive 11-0 victory over Bay Ridge in Week 1 action. The game got off to a fast start thanks to Bronx Science's faceoff unit, which controlled possession from the opening whistle. Their faceoff specialist consistently won draws and quickly pushed the ball into the offensive end, setting up the game's first goal just moments after play began. From there, Bronx Science never let up. They controlled the pace, dictated possession, and continued to generate quality scoring opportunities throughout the contest. While the offense continued to produce, Bay Ridge's goalkeeper kept the game from becoming even more lopsided. Turning aside 11 shots, he delivered a standout performance despite facing relentless pressure all game long. In the end, Bronx Science's depth, ball control, and offensive firepower proved too much to overcome. Despite an outstanding effort in net by Bay Ridge, Bronx Science cruised to an 11-0 shutout victory to begin the ULAX summer season in commanding fashion.

Fellas built a comfortable lead early and held on for a 7-5 win over Paddy Power. Paddy Power mounted a late comeback to make things interesting, but their rally fell just short as Fellas secured the victory.

Bronx Lacrosse kicked off its ULAX summer season with an impressive 9-5 win over Lock Jaw in a game that was tightly contested early before Bronx took control in the second half. Bronx struck first to open the scoring, but Lock Jaw answered almost immediately to even the game at 1-1. Bronx regained the lead at 2-1, only to see Lock Jaw respond once again and tie it at 2-2. Just before halftime, Bronx found the back of the net one more time to take a narrow 3-2 lead into the break. The second half was all Bronx. They came out with energy on both ends of the field, scoring four consecutive goals to create separation and take command of the game. Lock Jaw battled until the final whistle, adding three second-half goals, but Bronx's balanced offense and strong defensive play proved too much to overcome. Bronx opens the summer campaign with a statement victory, defeating Lock Jaw 9-5 to start the season 1-0.
