Both teams played a good game, especially considering being so short on subs. In the end Mesh Addicts came out victorious and were named as the ULAX Lansing Champions. Great season guys! Hope to see everyone out again this summer.

The Gamecocks mounted a late surge, scoring four unanswered points in the final minutes to pull off a 7-4 comeback win over the Brewins. Tied 3-3 heading into the final stretch, both teams traded blows before the Brewins briefly took a 4-3 lead. But the Gamecocks flipped the switch, locking down on defense and exploding offensively with a dominant four-point run to close out the game. Clutch performances down the stretch sealed the deal, as the Gamecocks silenced the Brewins and walked away with the win.

The Brewins held off a furious late push by the Sharks to come away with a 10-6 win in a wild, back-and-forth game. The Brewins built an early lead with relentless pressure, taking control with a flurry of goals in the first two periods. Up 8-2 heading into the third, it looked like the game was in the bag—but the Sharks came alive late, scoring four quick goals to cut the deficit to just two. The momentum was shifting, but the Brewins regrouped and answered back with two clutch goals to shut the door and lock up the win. A high-scoring night from both sides, but in the end, the Brewins did just enough to outlast the Sharks.

Water Dogs Hound Stars Back to Earth in Dominant Championship Win

The usual suspects came to play for the Water Dogs, making an early statement against the stars. Chris Honarmand had his usual sock trick, with supporting hatties and singles from 6 other players. Myles Brown and T. Jung tried to keep the Stars in the fight, with 5 and 3 goals, respectively, but it wasn't enough to put down the Dogs onslaught. The game seemed settled at the end of the 1st, with the Dogs leading 13 to 5, but the Stars supernovaed in the second, netting 11 goals. But, with the established 8 goal lead from the 1st half, and an additional 15 in the second, the Stars streak wasn't enough to close the gap or stop Dogs pursuit of the net. Water Dogs end the season undefeated with a statement win in the championship, finishing with 28 goals against Star's 16.

After dropping a game to the Yetis last week, The Washed up Warriors came back strong and defeated B.E.E.R. by a score of 8-2. The defense came up big for the Warriors with goalie Bryan Gervais making 8 saves on the Day. Close defensemen Grant Jellison and Cory Hughes, each ran the field and scored a goal for the Warriors as well. With 5 different offensive players adding to the scoring as well, it was just too much for B.E.E.R. to handle.

In another dominant showing, the Yetis topped the Kraken Beers 12-4. Cameron Bemiller made his presence known with 5 goals and 1 assist on the day. Five other Yetis contributed to the scoring as well. The Kraken Beers did their best to stay in it, but they never really slowed the Yetis in this one. Colton Meyer led the Kraken Beers with 2 goals while Jojo Meeker and John Manago each added another.

Malibu Surprises All With Close Loss

Perhaps due to the Chiefs being tired after their first game or a newfound resolve, team Malibu brought their A-game when facing the Chiefs in the second half of their double-header. The game was tied at several points but Malibu never seemed to be able to get ahead of the Chiefs, despite scoring a record eight goals against them, the clock was on the Chiefs side, and the game ended 10-8 in the Chiefs favor.

This week, the Chiefs were faced with the challenge of their first double-header, an unfortunate prospect for any other team, but thanks to the leadership on and off the field of Coach and Attackman Howard Alperin (#2), the four point lead at halftime was increased, with team Broski having to fight an uphill battle. The final score was 9-4 in the Chiefs favor.

Water Dogs Narrowly Take Down Guardians to Remain Undefeated in Regular Season

The Guardians finally found their rhythm in their final game of the season, managing 19 goals on the day. They kept it close with the Dogs throughout, trading leads and tie games all the way to the final minute when the Dogs finally tired of playing of fetch back and forth and secured a two goal lead. The Kemble brothers had stand out play, netting a collective sock trick among the two of them. Eric Brown of the Guardians had his usual hat trick, but it wasn't enough to take down the league's top Dog. Can Water Dogs maintain an entirely perfect season in next week's championship? Or will the Stars pick up some heat from the Guardians and come back burning to take down the undefeated Water Dogs?

The Water Dogs came out of the pound ready to play for their double header, sinking 26 goals over the duration. McCarthy and Willison had 5 each on the day, with a hat trick from E. Kemble and an additional four other goal scorers. Stars were dim throughout with goals from only four players, and no hatties or sock tricks to speak of. Stars need to find some fire and re-ignite if they have any hope of staying competitive with the Dogs in next week's championship.

B.E.E.R. called in reinforcements from the early game to help them fill a bench, and the extra legs paid off in the 8-4 victory over Kraken Beers. Trevor BeBaere and Casey Brown led B.E.E.R. with 2 goals each. Goalie Quinn Peterson stood strong in cage with 7 saves, helping hold Kraken Beers to only 4 goals. John Meeker tried to keep Kraken Beers in it with his 2 goals, but it was not enough to keep up with B.E.E.R. and their extra depth added to the bench.

The Yetis Do It Again

In a tightly fought, back and forth game, the Yetis held on to narrowly edge out the Washed Up Warriors 6-5. Each team spread out the scoring with Nils Holland and Christian Navarez each scoring 2 for the Yetis and Chris Silva adding another of his own. The Warriors did their best, going shot for shot with the Yetis, with Jared Mcferran scoring 2 on the day, while Matt Tucker, Devin Shields, and Jacob Janicki each burying one of their own. In the end, it was not enough, and the Yetis walked away with the win to remain undefeated on the season.

In their first match-up against each other, the Chiefs snuffed out all hope for Malibu winning their second game by deploying Coach Howard Alperin on attack to send a message of strength and fearlessness, proven by a perfect goal that was scored by the Coach. Throughout the game, team Malibu only managed to score three goals, not nearly enough to even tie the game. The final score was 13-3 in the Chiefs favor.

After team Broski's loss to the Chiefs in the first week of the season, a motivation to win and experience learned from their loss gave Broski a leg up. As seen by player H. Raine (#7) who put up three goals on his own. Team Malibu didn't go down without a fight, exemplified by D-Pole Chase McCormick (#24) scoring a goal by intercepting a shot and taking the ball across the field to score an impossible shot against Broksi. The final score was 9-2 in Broksi's favor

The Gamecocks put on a clinic, obliterating the Sharks in a lopsided 15-3 victory. From the opening faceoff, South Carolina dominated possession and pushed the tempo, overwhelming the Sharks' defense with relentless offensive pressure. Crisp passing and pinpoint shooting led to an early scoring barrage, and the Gamecocks never looked back. Defensively, they were just as suffocating, shutting down passing lanes and forcing turnovers that led to transition goals. The Sharks struggled to find any rhythm, with their few scoring chances quickly denied. By the final whistle, the Gamecocks had completely dismantled their opponent, capping off one of their most dominant performances of the season.

Mesh Addicts started the game strong with several goals. Just Dudes started the road to redemption and began trailing close behind. First half ended with a score of 6 - 4, Mesh Addicts in the lead. Both teams played a strong second half and ended the game with a score of 10 - 7, Mesh Addicts claiming victory once again. Overall ball handling was improved this game in comparison to the past 2 games. Weather was overall much better, warmer and a bit dryer.

The Gamecocks delivered another dominant performance, rolling past the Brewins with an 11-5 victory. From the opening whistle, they controlled possession and dictated the pace, jumping out to an early lead with crisp ball movement and sharp shooting. On the defensive end, the Gamecocks were relentless, forcing turnovers and shutting down the Brewins’ attack. Solid goaltending and disciplined play kept the opposition from gaining any real momentum. Despite a brief second-half push from the Brewins, the Gamecocks never wavered, closing out the game with strong team play and efficient scoring to secure another commanding victory.

The Stars and Guardians met for a one goal game to close out their final match-up. Eric Brown of Guardians improved on his hat trick from the previous game with five on the day followed by a near hat trick from Matt Hamilton. Myles Brown of the Stars was having none of it though, putting up another sock trick on the day and finding multiple assists for JR Massie and Burns. Can either of these teams take down the Water Dogs next week in their double header?
